We are a small but growing fellowship seeking to serve the Lord and our community in Shurdington and surrounding areas.

The Loft

Aimed at meeting the needs of young people in late Year 6-11, the Loft provides opportunity to meet and enjoy a range of fun tasks and activities together in a safe setting, and a short Bible study.  Led by Lois, Luke and Owen, the group meets on Sunday at 6pm at The Chapel.

Busy Hands

Every 2nd Wednesday at 10am, Beth and Charlotte run an event at The Chapel with a varied programme throughout the year.  These include card making, cake decorating, basic first aid and the like...  but most of all it's a chance to get together over a cuppa and enjoy some friendship whilst meeting together during the week.  Anyone is welcome.

Kid's Kickabout

Pre-COVID-19, Steve was running a Kid's Kickabout at Shurdington Primary School on a Friday evening - 6-7pm during the summer months. The name of the game - no training; no drills; just a good old game of fun football together!

Time caught up with us and we've not had opportunity to 'kick-off' again... but maybe one day soon?

S-Club

Prior to COVID-19, S-Club was our Saturday morning club for young people in primary school years.  We would meet for fun activities and refreshments at the Chapel.

Sadly, the group hasn't re-started with the majority of that original group having moved on to the Loft.  But who knows.. maybe soon!

Midweek Bible Study & Prayer

Wednesday afternoon at 2.30pm in the Chapel, Brian Jones leads a Bible Study.

NOTE: Up to last February we were meeting in the Chapel on Wednesday afternoons.    Despite the restrictions we managed to complete our Bible Basics studies by email just before Christmas.

We have now started a series featuring the Old Testament character of JOSEPH, and each study will once again be sent out by email or post.We would be delighted to extend our readership to others if requested.

Atherton Close coffee morning

For the residents of Atherton Close, the coffee morning and chance to chat with others in the lounge was a great experience.  Once more, this fell victim to event of COVID-19 and we have yet to re-establish this.
